Have you ever wondered if there is a way to post notices in a joomla website without writing articles. If the answer is yes, you are in the right place. With Noticeboard component, you can write notices without having to create articles. This page contains information on how to install and use noticeboard component and module for Joomla.

Using Component

From the backend of your Joomla site (administration) select Components -> Notice Board.

You can add, modify, delete, publish, and view notice(s) in NoticeBoard Manager. Click on New to add a new notice. Select notice(s) and click Edit/Delete to modfiy or delete notice(s).

Starting Version 1.2 you can use NoticeBoard component at front end. To publish the noticeboard component at front end, follow these steps

1) In Joomla Back end, Goto Menus -> YourMenu (This is where you want the component to display)
2) Click New.
3) In Select Menu Item Type, choose Internal Link -> Notice Board -> Noticeboards -> Default Layout.
4) Enter title and other information and Save.
